JMarq Records in an independently owned record label turning out music by the people, for the people.
“By the people, for the people.” This label isn’t your big Warner Bros or indie Alligator. JMarq Records is a label that offers artists opportunities to create, collaborate and benefit from those things but also is a space to impact other young artists just jumping into the game. Rather than just signing the dotted line and expecting management, gigs and a paycheck, which you will receive, you also agree to create for yourself and others. Your creative property remains yours, but if we sign you, you bring something to the table for everyone.
This isn’t some “tactic”. It’s just how it should be. Artists helping artists create music by the people, for the people. We're saying something by who we produce and how we produce them.
